Lines of voluntary activity

Volunteer movement is an integral part of VEB.RF’s corporate culture demonstrating employees’ desire to take an active part in the life of society. It became a good tradition for the organisation’s employees and members of their families to take regular actions to provide support to children left without parental care, elderly people and animal shelters. The organisation’s employees’ voluntary activity won recognition in the course of Moscow’s Government competition «Volunteer of the Year». VEB.RFbecame the competition’s laureate in the category «Corporate Volunteering».

VEB.RFGroup’s employees participated in more than 25 volunteer actions including already traditional blood donor actions, providing support for children from low-income families before the start of academic year, rendering assistance in placing children from orphanages with foster parents in the Amur, Kemerovo, Samara, Ryazan regions as well as the Primorsky Territory, providing support for patients from nursing homes in the Moscow, Pskov, Ryazan and Tula regions, rendering assistance to the Russian Orthodox Church, providing support for those suffered from natural disasters. In 2014, the Bank’s volunteers joined the city action «Books in the Parks», took part in collecting things for Charity Shop «Blagobutik», provided hand-made souvenirs for sale as part of charity festival «Warm-Hearted Bazaar».
