Today on April 14, State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Rostov region Administration entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

The Agreement was signed by Vhesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and Rostov region governor Vladimir Chub.

The Agreement aims to establish strategic partnership and promote long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in the investment activity and work out mechanisms for investing and roving banking services.

Under the Agreement the two sides are determined to implement projects including those within a public private partnership scheme in such sectors as construction and reconstruction of heat and water supply systems as well as water drainage systems, transport system development (including high-speed city transport) establishment of economic development zones and industrial design and construction A list of such projects is to be made on an annual basis taking into account socio-economic development priorities of the Rostov region and Vnesheconombank’s main lines of activity.

Vnesheconombank is also ready to assist in working out programs of comprehensive territorial infrastructure development in the Rostov region.

The implementation of this Agreement would help to boost the Rostov region’s socio-economic potential, its investment appeal as well as the development of the region’s infrastructure and transport network.
