A project on putting together a team of “Leaders of Change” – talented employees ready to make changes in the Bank – has been implemented at Vnesheconombank since March of 2016. As a result of multi-stage selection, 100 leaders of Vnesheconombank and VEB Group have been identified.

Participants in the project “Leaders of Change” got together at the Moscow Skolkovo School of Management at a Strategic Session devoted to developing projects on improving Vnesheconombank’s activity.

In the course of the Session its participants discussed such issues as improving customer service, optimizing business processes, improving the quality of projects portfolio and measures to enhance management of Vnesheconombank Group. The session’s participants presented proposals for implementing short-term projects designed to improve Vnesheconombank’s Group’s activity in the most immediate future – they are to be completed till the end of 2016.

The projects were presented to Vnesheconombank Chairman Sergei Gorkov. Project developers identified objectives, main stages, implementation dates as well as key performance indicators.

These projects’ implementation is to start before a new Strategy for the Development of Vnesheconombank has been approved, economic effect is scheduled to be achieved as early as this year. In order to put the proposed ideas into effect, the Bank’s management made a decision to form working groups.

In the course of the Strategic Session, participants in the project “Leaders of Change” were evaluated. There are plans that employees that were evaluated positively would become the very “leaders of change” and would participate in implementing approved projects and would be given the opportunity to do a course of training under module programs. The project on selecting talented andproactive employees and engaging them for introducing new initiatives at Vnesheconombank will continue and the next step will be to engage the Bank’s line managers and experts for developing and implementing top-priority projects.

“Leaders of Change” is Vnesheconombank’s strategic project in personnel development. The project is designed to put together a team of talented and proactive employees ( basically, middle management) who will participate in implementing projects aimed at transforming Vnesheconombank.
