In accordance with EC 560/2001 directive on specifying IBAN (International Bank Account Number) codes in payment instructions on a mandatory basis, from 01.01.2007 required details for payments in favor of customers whose banks are in the countries incorporated in the European Union and/ or the European Economic Union should include IBAN code. From 01.01.2007, banks are entitled to stop making payments in which account numbers are not specified in IBAN format and in doing so, they can withhold additional commission for refunding payments. This requirement is to be applicable to payments in euros and Swedish kronas in favor of customers whose banks are in European Union/European Economic Union countries.

This is to inform you of Vnesheconombank’s work schedule to service legal entities customers during New-Year and Christmas Holidays.
The final date for accepting customers’ documents as well as for releasing cash to and accepting it from Vnesheconombank’s customers is December 28, 2006. The first date for offering cash and payment services to customers in the year 2007 is January 10.
The final date for conducting transactions in placing foreign exchange receipts to customers’ transit foreign exchange accounts is December 29, 2006, the first date in the year 2007 – January 9.
The final date for conducting conversion transactions on the customers’ instructions is December 27, 2006, on applications – December 28, 2006, the first date for conducting conversion transactions on customers’ instructions and applications in the year 2007 is January 10
